Yogurt Advice, Please

I need some help. I am getting bored with my breakfasts lately (I'm currently an Eggo Waffle addict) and I've been craving some fabulously creamy yogurt. The problem is that I am not sure where to find said fabulously creamy yogurt. Any suggestions? I prefer a plain or vanilla flavor, but I'm open to anything. Do you have a favorite brand that you always buy and cannot live without?

Yoplait is my favorite brand. Dannon is too tart, and store brands are a gamble. Western Family Pre-Stirred isn't all that bad if you are desperate. Yoplait's Fiber One yogurt is surprisingly good and you can get vanilla/peach in a 6 pack. My kids even like the Fiber One yogurt.

I think if you want a really thick and creamy yogurt you should get Greek Style Yogurt. Cabot makes one and there's another brand too, I think it's Oikos. I usually get the chocolate - YUM-O!!!

I have to favorites. One is a store brand and if you are lucky enough to live near a Trader Joe's (West Coast) then go and try there Maple cream top yogurt. The other is I have a fabulous recipe. I have a yogurt maker and I love to make it. It is lightly sweetend with honey and is is amazing. If you are interested in the recipe for it let me know and I will get it to you!!!

Greek yogurt is the best thing ever. Creamy and delicious. I buy the plain, and then add a little agave nectar and blueberries. It is SOOO good.

Andy hi sis, my favorite yogurt right now is tillamook lemon. I eat it plain and also add it over fruit. yum! It is tangy and sweet and creamy.

Greek yogurt is really the best...look for it at Trader Joes. They have regular and low-fat, and the low-fat is still nice and creamy. Yum!

Western family vanilla! Trust me on this one--I love vanilla yogurt and I've tried dozens--look for the black spots all over the container.

The greek yogurt is awesome...but holy cow EXPENSIVE! No wonder all the famous people eat it...a second best is Yoplait custard stlye...it's like pudding!

Give Oikos Organic yourgurt a try. I add a tsp of honey to play up the slightly tart taste. But it's super creamy and almost tastes decadant. If price is an issue, use cheese cloth, a strainer, rubber bands, and 24 hours in frigo and any plain yourgurt you can find.

Thank you for all of your help! Yesterday at the store I picked up a few personal sized containers of some of your suggested favorites and I can't wait to try them all! Bring on the yogurt.

Ok I know that you do not know me, but I know Alie! I read your blog faithfully every couple of days. I will tell you my little secret, but please don't let it get out or it won't be there when I need it! Tillamook French Vanilla Bean yogurt is to die for! I buy it by the case and I am not lying on this. I eat it every morning for breakfast and have for over a year. I never get sick of it and here in Oregon we just have the best COWS! Try it you'll be amazed!

Brown Cow yogurt is the creamiest, most natural yogurt I know and my very favorite. They make a vanilla, plain or maple flavor. There are no gelatin additives or thickeners. Brown Cow has a thick layer of cream on the top that you have to stir in before you eat the yogurt. They also do make a fat-free with no cream on top that is still quite good. I know it is sold at Whole Foods.

I love Tillamook and Weight Watchers yogurts. Have to watch some yogurts have aspartame in which is not too good for you.
Love the Boston Creme Pie.

Brown Cow is the best yogurt brand I've had by far (I've only had plain or vanilla). Their "cream top" is so rich and delicious, but their normal and low fat are better than anything else out there! If you can't find it at the normal grocery store, try a health food store - I know Whole Foods and our local health food store both have it.
